Meet Skip

I’m Skip Maloney, an executive, entrepreneur, investor, and, perhaps most importantly, a proud Girl Dad.

I’ve spent more than 25 years helping lead businesses, make complex decisions, and understand what separates a good opportunity from an expensive mistake. Along the way, I’ve built businesses, invested in real estate and other assets, and developed a healthy respect for the fact that money can make life easier, but only if you know what the hell you’re doing with it.

My professional career has taken me into the executive suites of global companies, where I currently serve as an Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for a publicly traded technology company. I also oversee major business functions beyond traditional HR and have spent my career working at the intersection of strategy, operations, growth, and people.

But credentials are one thing. Real life is another.

Being a father has a way of changing how you think about money. Suddenly, you're not just saving for yourself. You're thinking about college, security, opportunities, emergencies, and how to give your kids a head start without turning them into adults who believe the Amazon delivery truck is a constitutional right.

That is what brought me to Knocked-up Money.

I believe personal finance should be practical, understandable, and occasionally entertaining. You don't need a finance degree to build wealth. You do need a willingness to learn, a little discipline, and the ability to avoid making the same dumb money mistakes repeatedly.

Here, we'll talk about making more money, spending it smarter, investing for the future, building businesses, creating additional income, and helping families build something that lasts longer than the latest economic trend.

I'm not here to tell you that you can become a millionaire by skipping Starbucks twice a week. I'm here to explore the real decisions that help people and families build financial confidence and long-term wealth.

Because raising kids is expensive.

And apparently, nobody mentioned that before we signed up.

Welcome to Knocked-up Money. Let's figure this out together.
